Software Releases
The following downloads are examples of an implementation of Zcore™ deployed in Kenya for managing inventory in public health center pharmacies. A Download and Installation Guide is available.
Although this is a Java application, the Eclipse RCP version of the application works fine on computers without Java pre-installed. The Eclipse RCP version comes with the Java JRE embedded.
Windows 7 and Windows Vista users: If you are running this application using either of those operating systems, you may need to right click on the application and "Run as Administrator" in order to run the DAR after installation.

- Improvements in administering regimen stock
- Added non-ARV (OI users) to statistics
- Added Facility monthly report
- Improvements to Statistics Regimen report
- Prevent entry of dates in the future for some forms. Tested and works on:
- Stock Control
- Patient registration
- Dispensing
- Corrected options for WHO Stage in Health form
- Bugfixes on Out-of-stock messages, calendar widget birth date editing,
- Enabled dispensing of all meds in the stock list. Requires a separate build - DAR 1.1t - available here.
Please note: There is a special version of one of the library files that fixes a bug that disabled dumping to .csv for administrative purposes. Only the admin version of the app should use this lib - do not use it for deployments. There is a README inside the archive that provides more details. zcore-derby-admin-version.zip

- Installs to C:\zephyr and creates some shortcuts/uninstaller in the Program menu.
12 August 2008: Cross-platform Tomcat-only release
Features
- This version is cross-platform - works on Linux and Windows.
- Optimised for 800 x 600 display resolution.
- Much smaller file size - does not include the Eclipse RCP files.
- To run it, unzip on your hard drive. If you're running the app in Linux, make all of the .sh files in the bin dir executable (chmod 555). Run either startup.sh(Linux) or startup.bin (windows).
- Once the app has started, point your browser to localhost:8088/zephyr. Please be aware that the app runs on the 8088 port.
- Login as user:zepadmin, pass: zepadmin11
